History of our company goes back to the end of the 20th century when former employees of the prestigious Czechoslovak Research Institute of metallurgical ceramics developed a project, which over time transformed into IPC Refractories, s.r.o. company, headquartered in Košice, Slovakia.
Since its inception in 1994, the company has focused on developing, manufacturing and sales of unshaped refractory materials, precast parts and auxiliary materials for steel production. Our products are aimed primarily for use in the steel industry, but we also have satisfied customers from the foundry, energy and cement industry.
IPC Refractories s.r.o company is able to offer modern, progressive and comprehensive technology of refractory materials due to our company founders’ years of extensive experience in the field of refractory materials production and their applications.
Since 2002, the company is fully certified in the field of development, production and sales of refractory products according to ISO 9001:2015.
In 2010, the company strategically made a significant change in their orientation from universal production to consistent customization, while maintaining high temporal flexibility of supply. This is also reflected in the new company mission which is encoded in its name:
Individual: degree of individualization (customization) of goods and services is close to 100%
Progressive: production cycle regularly and continuously implements the latest technology and thus constantly brings updated and innovative products and services.
Competitive: all products and services are provided by considering the best cost and performance optimization for our customers.

Supported by our experienced development team and intensive cooperation with renown academic institutions in Central Europe, our company mission is to develop customized products and services based on the specific needs of our customers with the best cost and performance optimization.
Our company is strongly customer-oriented. Our aim is to build lasting relationships with our customers, allowing us to understand their business and operational processes and ultimately improve on the products and services delivered.

For this reason, the IPC refractories, spol. s r.o. company is fully certified since 2002 in the field of development, production and sales of refractory products according to quality system certification ISO 9001 : 2015.
